Caroline-Laubacher Simpkins

Caroline Laubacher Simpkins trained for 13 years at The Georgia Ballet School and joined their professional company upon graduation.

During her seven seasons at The Georgia Ballet, Caroline worked closely with ballet master/resident choreographer Janusz Mazon and created lead roles in several of his ballets: “A Young Dancer’s Guide to the Orchestra" (Terpsichore), “Firebird” (Elena), and "A Sleepy Hollow Story" (Katrina). She also danced featured roles in "Giselle" (Myrtha), Balanchine's "Serenade,” “Paquita,” and "The Sleeping Beauty.”

Caroline taught at The Georgia Ballet School for four years and is currently beginning her third year teaching for the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education. Academically, Caroline graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Exercise & Health Science, and she recently completed a year of graduate studies at Georgia Tech’s School of Applied Physiology. Caroline is very excited to begin her first year teaching at NADA!
